My work
WEB DEVELOPMENT
MY FIRAT PROJECT
My first web project was a food blog called Honning Hjørnet, created as part of my studies. It was our first real test where we combined UX/UI principles with design and built everything from scratch using only HTML and CSS.
This project was challenging just because building everything only with HTML and CSS meant no shortcuts. Every layout, style, and interaction had to be coded manually. It shows my starting skills and how I began applying design and UX/UI principles in practice.
MY LAST PROJECT
My latest project was an interactive museum experience about endometriosis, mainly targeted at high school students and younger children. It focused on making complex knowledge accessible and engaging through playful, digital interaction.
This project was developed in a group, where my main role was to take our ideas and make them visually appealing. creating backgrounds, small videos, and figures that helped bring the concept to life.
work PROSESS
UX/UI
Understanding the user and shaping the experience through design that is both functional and engaging. It’s about creating solutions that make sense and feel natural to the user.
SKETCHES & WIRE-FRAMES
Turning ideas into simple visual structures. Sketches and wireframes help organize content and flow, showing how the solution could look and work.
WORDPRESS
Transforming the design into a functional product. WordPress allows me to build user friendly websites where design and interaction come together in a live environment.
BRAINSTORM
Generating ideas and exploring possibilities. This step is about thinking wide, asking questions, and finding creative directions before narrowing down.
MOCKUPS & HIGH/LOW-FI TESTS
Adding detail and testing the design. LoFi mockups give quick feedback on structure, while HiFi prototypes bring in visuals, interactions, and usability testing with real users.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Endometriosis project
As part of the project, I designed a poster artwork of a uterus and fallopian tubes decorated with flowers. The idea was to show the growth of endometrial tissue as something visual and beautiful. One of the women we interviewed even asked to share it with her support group, which made the project feel especially meaningful.
free time projects
In my free time, I enjoy exploring digital art as a way to tell stories and reflect on my surroundings. One piece is a drawing of a mermaid reimagined as a whale. A symbol of the Faroe Islands and the close bond we have with nature and the sea.
Another is a poster showing the outline of a mother and child with the words “Here you have room to try and later take flight.” inspired by the strong women in my life and my experiences working with children. Both works combine imagination with personal meaning, turning simple visuals into symbols of connection, growth, and care.
