ABOUT ME

My Name Is Ingibjørg

I was born and raised in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands, but some of my most important memories come from spending every holiday on a small island surrounded by sea, sheep, family, and my dog. Growing up in this environment gave me a strong connection to nature, animals, and the feeling of community. These are things that still inspire me today.

My school years were not always easy, since I didn’t find out I was dyslexic until after finishing school. That discovery changed everything. With the right tools and support during my HF studies, I was able to learn in new ways. Often through listening rather than reading. And that opened up a whole new world for me. It also gave me resilience and taught me that creativity can often grow from challenges.

In 2024 I moved to Aarhus, Denmark, to study Multimedia Design, where I’m now focusing on Content Creation. I enjoy combining visual storytelling, design, and interaction to create experiences that are not only functional but also meaningful. My passion lies in finding the balance between simplicity and creativity. Making things that are easy to understand but still catch the eye.

Today, I’m ready to take the next step by finding an internship where I can bring my skills into practice. I’m especially motivated by projects that involve design, storytelling, and user-centered experiences, and I’m excited to contribute my creativity, background, and determination to a professional team.

My first job taught me responsibility and customer service, while working closely with local products from a neighborhood bakery.

working with kids and younger children. Here I learned patience and how to create a safe, fun environment.
it strengthened my creativity and teamwork skills, as every day required flexibility and care.

This role gave me empathy and communication skills, while helping older people maintain independence in their own homes.
